STABILE PARTICIPATES IN NBCE TEST COMMITTEE MEETING

GREELEY, Colo.-Albert Stabile, Jr., D.C., of Hackensack, N.J., participated in the 12th annual Part IV Test Committee meeting held in Greeley, Colo., at the headquarters of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) on June 16-17, 2006.

Serving as representative of the New Jersey State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Dr. Stabile, was one of 23 participants in the United States chosen to review patient case' scenarios and select case-related questions for the Part IV practical examination to be administered in November 2006 and May 2007. Part IV assesses clinical skills in diagnostic imaging, chiropractic technique and case management for applicants seeking state licensure.

The NBCE Part IV examination was administered for the first time in January 1996 and has been administered twice yearly since then. Part IV is presently accepted by 47 states and the District of Columbia for initial licensure in chiropractic. Michigan will be accepting Part IV in 2007.

Headquartered in Greeley, Colo., the NBCE is the international testing organization for the chiropractic profession. Established in 1963, the NBCE develops, administers and scores standardized written examinations for candidates seeking chiropractic licensure throughout the United States and in several foreign countries.
